Patricia Cafe - For me??

Cnr Little Bourke & Little William St.

So, Melbourne is drowning in cafes, and don’t get me wrong this is a very good thing. Caffeine feinds and lovers of solo time like me like to cafe hop so we don’t get too many evil looks from waitresses for taking up a table for three hours with papers strewn over the table and spilling onto the floor. But we can’t stay at home all day can we!? we need to get out of the house or we go coo coo.

So when I discovered a new cafe named after me ‘Patricia’ had opened, well I was rather chuffed ( note: it’s not actually personally named after me, it’s just got my name, but I’m sure it’s dedicated to me. )

So for starters, I love their logo and it may have to become my signature, we’ll just have ignore that my name is actually spelt ‘Patrycia’ with a Y, thanks to my Polish parents The logo is just so clean and elegant! Much like the direction of their coffee service…

This  cafe comes with a twist, there are no seats! and you can only choose between “Black, white or filter” coffee. I love this, particularly for the waiters who no longer have to roll their eyes at unneccessarily complicated coffee orders. It reminds me of European coffee bars too, where you stand, leaning against a sill, reading the daily news while sipping on your espresso. Mmmmm, simplicity, you know I love.

So pay it a visit! (and think of me….)

Love - Patrycia with a Y!

LOVE their business cards, I NEED to use this hexagonal shape for my own business cards.

Standing room only people!

Loving the neon light on the roof.
