Today I visited the mecca that is ABC Home on Broadway in Manhattan and saw these gorgeous coasters by Rock Scissors Paper! I was meant to buy them at the end of my 6 story sojourn around the building but then totally forgot! Nooooo! I wanted to buy a pack of twelve of the wonderfully bright yellow ones to hang in a row in my home and now I still can thanks to an internet hunt that proved fruitful.

These gorgeous little sacks are made by a Finnish Husband and Wife duo under the name of Suki, and they can be bought here.
I’m always looking for ways to replace boring mundane objects in my house with something more visually appealing, and these sacks could easily sit by my couch and house old news papers and nic nacs or I’d love to plant some herbs in them too.

These rustic lights from Worleys Lighting offer beautiful lighting for the home and commercial use. How wonderful are the book ends! What a gorgeous way to illuminate your book collection. The small wooden based pair would look fabulous if they were lined up along a long wooden table in a cafe. Comforting and practical. Love!
My lap top and I spend a lot of quality time together, and that’s why it deserves a little special seat like the ones above available from EjButik here. Adorable :) It would also make me feel a little bit more civilized when I’m lounging in bed with my lap top, it’s like I’m ‘half’ at a table! right?

Adorable stationary from Happy Dappy Bits
The Australian Interior Design Awards are currently being compiled and the entries are ASTOUNDING. I believe Australia has some of the worlds best interior designers (and designers in general!) I am always blown away by the new projects they create every year. The hospitality section of the awards is one of favorites, and one of the entries, ‘The Old Library’ is a restaurant housed within, you guessed it, an old library! It was designed by the fabulous Hecker Guthrie. A firm also responsible for the long time coming SABA remodel and other gorgeous boutiques for Sass n Bide and Metallicus.
